First of all can I just say how much I appreciate you taking time out of your day to check out my little website - it really does mean the world to me.
So here goes - following a successful career as an international playboy, astronaut and all round bon vivant I decided at the age of 60 to retire to the country and write my memoir's whilst gorgoing on truffles and Moet & Chandon.
Sadly as none of this actually happened I was, instead, forced to reconsider and, write other fanciful stories designed to spirit you off to worlds full of laughter, unlikely heroes and the occasional ill-tempered wizard. My soon to be released World of Rock series of books is the product of such ramblings. I believe that stories should take you to places far away, ideally with fewer taxes and significantly more witches (the nice ones of course).
I am a lifelong believer in the power of the imagination and dabble in other genres when the planets align (or when I run out of good coffee). My debut fantasy novel Tahira The Elemental is a case in point. I have also penned a couple of contemporary urban thrillers which are in differing stages of pre-publication. More news to follow.
When I am not conjuring up strange new lands I spend my time as an expert dog walker and 'DIYer'. I am also working hard (albeit unsuccessfully) on not being a grumpy old man.
Anyway, I should take this opportunity to remind you to sign up to my newsletter for regular, quarterly updates on my authorly progress - remember that along with my newsletter each quarter I issue my subscribers with a free short story - what a bargain!
Finally, yes I do shut up eventually, I am also a member of the Hog's Back Writers group and we have a weekly podcast and website which is well worth checking out - I have added the link in the menu.
So there you have it - A Brief History Of Time - well mine anyway!
Take Care and Stay Safe.
